went to sembawang for my attachment 2day...its a nursing home...
it's kind of sad to be working there cuz of the patients there...moreover, i was sent to the dementia department with ariff...that's the most challenging and sad department...well, that's what i think...dementia is the saddest disease that you can get in the whole wide world...i just pray that i wont get this disease...neither piggie nor all the ppl in this world...
anyways, in the morning, play ball with the patients there...then had some exercise with the patients and then took them out side the ward to haf some "sun bathing"...heeeez...after that they had some activities before they ate lunch at 12pm sharp...the time table there is well followed! and then 1230pm is ariff and my lunch break...seriously...my school mates and i dun haf any appetite...so we end up not eating any thing for lunch...>.<...we only had 3 hrs left after the lunch break...hahax...
after lunch break, had to bring the dementia patients to do some physiotherapy...first batch then the second...after that had some table games...that's the most boring of all for me...cuz...erm..it's really boring? >.<...hahax...at 4pm sharp is one of my favourite timing cuz first, haf tv to watch and also it's closing the time that i'm going to knock off...heeeez...
and finally.......430pm is up and we sent majority of the patients to the van that are going to send them home every day since that's a day care department...so that means this grp is only a small grp of dementia patients...there's alot more...hmmmmm....really feel very sad cuz they really dun remember things even their love ones...
but of course, these elderly haf their cute side...=p
